Transformative Project
Garrisson successfully transformed the previously underdeveloped site at 11-17 Cohen Place, adjacent to Chinatown Square, into the vibrant Punt Hill Little Bourke Hotel Apartments. This site, which had long been underutilized, now features 78 hotel apartments, 35 residential apartments, a ground-floor restaurant, a lounge and bar, conference rooms, and a gymnasium. He was key in securing the land in an off-market purchase and obtaining the necessary planning approvals. His efforts in sourcing and structuring a development partnership were pivotal in overcoming the site’s inherent access problems and bringing the project to life. This project is a testament to Garrisson's capability to tackle challenging urban development projects and deliver successful outcomes.
Landmark Creation
In addition to sourcing and bringing together the development partnership that developed the site, Garrisson also led a highly effective marketing campaign targeting local and international markets, ensuring strong pre-sales and high visibility for the project. The Punt Hill Little Bourke Hotel Apartments have since become notable landmarks in Melbourne’s CBD, thanks to their unique and sympathetic architecture designed by Fender Kasalidis. The development's design respects the character of the surrounding Chinatown area while offering modern amenities. This project highlights Garrisson's ability to blend innovative architectural solutions with strategic marketing, reinforcing his reputation for excellence in real estate development.
