Transformative Redevelopment
In 2000, Garrisson led the funding of the redevelopment of Moorabbin Airport, a project that covered 726 acres, 60% of which is dedicated to aviation and the remainder for development. The redevelopment of Moorabbin Airport included a 100-hectare Business Park, an Industrial Park, and a Retail Precinct, which houses major retailers such as Direct Factory Outlets (DFO), Aldi, Priceline, and The Good Guys. This redevelopment, recognized by multiple State and National Master Builders Association awards, transformed the area into a thriving commercial and retail hub.

Upshot
Garrisson led the structuring and secured equity and mezzanine funding for the development consortium. His strategic expertise ensured the project had the capital necessary to move forward. This involved forming a group of investors that underpinned the redevelopment. Garrisson's ability to navigate these financial complexities was key to the project's initiation and successful progression. The property was eventually sold and redeveloped by the Macquarie Goodman Group. The group formed by Garrisson still retains a shareholding in the ownership entity, ensuring a long-term investment and sustained influence on the project's success., showcasing Garrisson's impact through OPG's strategic financial and developmental expertise.
